Established in 1927 in Okara (Now Pakistan), by Late Mr. M.L. Malik, Malik & Co. ("Firm") has grown into a prominent law firm with operations in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and associates across major Indian cities.

Late Mr. M.L. Malik incepted the Firm and brought to great recognition in the field of Tax Litigation

Late Shri Har Gopal Malik

Mr. H.G. Malik was the flag-bearer of the Firm until early 2000s and garnered a name in Direct Tax Litigation, without over 2000 orders from the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and the High Court, Mr. H.G. Malik brought great experience and recognition to the firm.

Sanjay Malik

Mr. Sanjay Malik is the managing Partner of the Firm since early 2000s and has been heading the company. He heads the compliance side practice of the firm and ensures that litigation risk can be minimised.

Sankalp Malik

Mr. Sankalp Malik is the Litigation head of the Firm and in a brief stint of less than a decade has garnered a a name, reputation in tax & white collar Litigation. He has represented MNCs, PSUs, Government Organisations before various Tribunals, High Courts across Pan-India and also before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

Mr. Sankalp Malik has been a part of leading firms and also worked with the Standing Counsel for the Income Tax Department, Enforcement Directorate, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, GST Department, National Financial Reporting Authority amongst others. Therefore, having an experience of working from both the side of the Government as well as from the side of the private litigants.
